2024 Annual Meeting Announcement

The Board of Directors of Ontario Shores Federal Credit Union issues the following notice to our membership regarding the 2024 Annual Meeting Elections and Voting.
Our Annual Meeting will be held at the Newfane Town Hall, 2737 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108 on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 6:00 pm. Please note you must pre-register to attend the Annual Meeting whether you plan to attend the meeting in person or virtually.
Registration is required by March 1, 2024. To register, email us at service@osfcu.com, or call us at 716-778-7423. Upon registering, you will receive an email containing information regarding the meeting. When you register, please indicate whether you will be attending the meeting in person or virtually.
There are three positions open on the Board of Directors. All positions are elected for 3-year terms. The Nominating Committee has nominated incumbents Joseph Breczka, Jr., Bruce Barnes and Bridget Beilein for the expiring terms. A brief statement of qualifications and biographical data for each nominee is included. Each nominee has certified that he or she is agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected to office.
PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO NOMINATIONS FROM THE FLOOR AT THE ANNUAL MEETING.
Additional nominations may also be made by petition. Please contact either the Newfane or Medina Office of OSFCU for the forms necessary to nominate a candidate. Each petition must contain a minimum of 85 OSFCU member signatures and must be accompanied by the candidate’s biography and qualifications. Each nominee must certify in writing that he or she is agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected to office.
All nominating petitions must be postmarked and received by the Nominating Committee no later than February 9, 2024, at: Ontario Shores FCU, Attn: Nominating Committee, P.O. Box 9, Newfane, NY 14108-0009
Voting will take place during the Annual Meeting. The minimum voting age is 18 years. Please note: If the number of candidates does not exceed positions, voting will not be necessary.

Bruce M. Barnes
- OSFCU member over 42 years and Board member for past 2 years.
- Lifelong resident, Town of Newfane. Enjoy living past 41 years on south shore of Lake Ontario. Note: sleep peacefully at night, thanks to shoreline protection paid for by a loan from OSFCU!
- Graduate Newfane Central Schools, Undergraduate studies and two Assistantships at Adrian College, then more graduate studies and Teaching Assistantship at University at Buffalo. Currently taking classes, Advance Judicial Education – SUNY.
- Career has been spent mostly teaching and doing designing and building. Also being honored to serve our local community as local Town Justice.
- Volunteered as past President for Niagara County Magistrates Association; Currently serve on Board of Directors, Historic Lockport Gas & Electric Raceway; also member of Board of Directors and Site Supervisor, Lockport Habitat for Humanity.
- Enjoy spending time by the lake (I confess I haven’t kneeboarded in 3 years) watching family doing various water activities. Have transformed my basketball sneakers into golfing shoes, with a goal of shooting my age for 18 holes (sadly my golf scores are increasing faster than my age). Absolute favorite pastime is spending as much time as possible with grandchildren Artie and Zelda.
Bridget Beilein
- OSFCU member for 8 years and Board member for past 2 years.
- Resident of Newfane for 40 years.
- Graduate of Barker Central High School.
- Undergraduate Michigan State University.
- Graduate University of Niagara.
- Foreign Language Educator for 20 years.
- Current Professor of Foreign Languages at Niagara County Community College for 10 years.
- Lead service trips abroad with students.
- Happily married and mother of two beautiful children.
- Enjoy sailing the high seas of Lake Ontario with family and friends.
- Enjoy traveling the world and sharing its treasures with family and friends.
Joe Breczka, Jr.
- Member of Ontario Shores FCU for over 40+ years.
- Current President of OSFCU Board of Directors; served on OSFCU Board since 2020
- Employed as National Director of Sales and Business Development for Intivity, a multi-location organization.
- Has 35+ years in business management and strategic development/management experience.
- Has experience serving on several Boards, both professionally and community based, providing a strong understanding of public and private sectors to support best course for OSFCU and its members.
- Focused on bringing a fresh, experienced, outside perspective to support the health and strategic growth of OSFCU.
- Currently serves as Music Director at St. Andrews–Burt and Exley UMC-Wilson.
- Enjoys family, friends, outdoor water activities, music, music theater, living life!
- Resides in Burt with his wife Diane, has 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
- Looks forward to continuing to grow OSFCU in a strong, financial and member serving manner.
Jeffery R. Hill
- Proud Newfane resident since 1975 with wife Kelly.
- Former member of the Olcott Fire Company.
- United States Army Veteran both active & reserves.
- Currently serving as Chairman of the Ontario Shores FCU Supervisory Committee.
- Newfane Senior High graduate.
- Certified NYSDEC Instructor.
- Currently employed as United States Customs & Border CBP Officer.
- Former small business owner (Gunsmoke).
- Past member of the Olcott Lions Club.
- Past Committee member of the Buffalo Honor Flight.
- Would like to utilize my knowledge & abilities to add additional value to the credit union.
