Our iBanking security protocol has been updated, and you'll no doubt notice a few changes the next time you sign in to access your Ontario Shores FCU accounts.
At sign on, you'll first notice the password image has been eliminated. Also, at your first sign on after this change, you'll be prompted to reestablish your security questions. The security questions may be presented to you at your next sign on as well, until our system "learns" your access pattern. Once you're signed in, there will be a verification prompt when you first perform transactions, such as balance transfers or loan payments. This verification will provide an option for you to receive a text message, phone call, or answer security questions, and will have to be completed before your transfer or payment may be processed. This verification will become less frequent as the system learns your banking pattern.
We strive to maintain the highest level of account security, while not inconveniencing you in the process. We are keenly aware that changes in security protocol such as this does result in some inconvenience and even frustration at the onset. We hope that once you've used the online system a few times, you'll soon encounter a less challenging experience. As always, we welcome your feedback - please don't hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at 716-778-7423 (Newfane) or 585-798-2136 (Medina)
