People Helping People: A Heartfelt Effort by Our Staff and Credit Union Members
At the heart of every strong community lies a collective sense of giving, compassion, and service. At Ontario Shores Federal Credit Union, people helping people is a core principle that guides everything we do. We believe in building stronger communities, and that starts with us.
Donation to Niagara County Sheriff’s Shop with a Cop Event
On behalf of our members, we have made a monetary donation of $1,500.00 to the NCSO All-Star Fund which provides funding for the annual Shop with a Cop event. Over 25 children will be shopping with a police officer this year.
Holiday Shopping for Local Families
Our OSFCU staff have adopted a few local families for the holidays. Our elves have been hard at work behind the scenes making this season bright!
Toy Donations for Medina Area Association of Churches
OSFCU members at our Medina branch have been dropping off toys for the annual MAAC Christmas Program. Last year, the program delivered gift boxes to more than 300 individuals, more than 170 of them children.
Pajama Donations for Patients
OSFCU staff are spreading comfort and joy by donating pajamas to patients at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive
OSFCU members and staff have been donating jars of peanut butter, jelly, and fluff for the annual Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive. The organization distributes jars to food pantries in several counties including Niagara and Orleans. Their mission is to feed as many children and struggling families as possible.
At Ontario Shores Federal Credit Union, our mission extends beyond financial services – it’s about creating lasting change in the community we call home. We look forward to another year of making a difference together.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff, members, and community partners who make these efforts possible. Your kindness and dedication make all the difference – and together, we’re building a brighter future for everyone.
